It's trully amazing how you can type in "iPod cult" and actually get a response. This just goes to prove that iPods have become a way of life and have become more than just mere technology...

The question is, "Is such extensive development a good or bad thing".
The term 'Cult', for me suggests a negative. I would contend that rather, these crazy and innovative developments allow people great opportunity.
As with everything in life, there is a choice. How we choose to use our iPods, or what part in the 'cult' we choose to play is entirely up to us.
The "iPod cult" simply offers us a bigger range of choices - of which we can either choose to be a part of or not.
